ABOUT THE PROJECT
Allysha of The Sterling Gypsy called looking for help with her Shopify store, and had not had success with other web developers/designers. We did an overhaul of the site’s design, content, functionality and navigation, which had not been set up properly. We went through her 800+ products to ensure they were optimized with keywords, tags and collections, as well as being organized into categories for easier navigation for the customer. Create new pages to tell The Sterling Gypsy’s story, ensure all terms and disclaimers, as well as her privacy policy were accurately conveyed, updated the header, footer, store menus, the slideshow on the homepage, adding custom graphics to accent the branding of the store. We then spent time to fix shipping that was based on the type of the product, the region of the US the product was being shipped to, the size/weight of the item; and then we configured her international shipping with the same parameters. We fixed her domain settings so they all pointed to her store. We also spent some time with the Shopify support to resolve issues the client was having with the backend operation of the online store functionality. We then added additional custom/personalization engraving to the applicable products with a third-party plugin. The store continues to evolve design wise after we completed training with the owner, but the pictures here show what the site looked like when we completed the project.
