ABOUT THE PROJECT

Jon Byer contacted Startup Production when he and his son, Jack, were starting a new venture “Heritage Pools and Outdoor Living”. After working with Jon on his other business’ website (ByerBuilders.com) and internet marketing since 2017, with confidence in our work, our customer service and our responsiveness to complete every task and job we start, he came to us to develop his new website.  We thank him for his loyalty to Startup Production, as our repeat customers are always much appreciated and qualify for an hourly discount. Starting a new business is an exciting time for any entrepreneur, but it’s also imperative to get your web presence up and running as soon as possible. Why? When it comes to SEO, time matters. One of the foundational building blocks of search engine optimization is domain and site age — the longer your website has been live, the more trust and authority it can build with Google. That’s why launching your website as soon as possible is critical. Google’s indexing and ranking process doesn’t happen overnight; it can take weeks or even months before your site begins to appear in search results. The sooner your site is live, the sooner search engines can start crawling, indexing, and ranking your pages.

When building Jon and Jack’s new website, we want to build SEO-rich content that fully described his varied services to enhance a client’s backyard living, but also visually represent all the features and add-ons they offer for boutique-style pools, outdoor kitchens, hardscapes, landscaping, outdoor lighting, AV and sound systems, and firepits. We also wanted to focus that they not only design and plan, they build and install, and they maintain these spaces and pools. We developed a majority of the content for the client with the help, feedback and advisement of our clients during several online meetings.  We work closely with the client during the various phases of design, layout, page navigation, visual elements and heavily during the content development and writing stage. After each site is completed, we work on our Eagle Eye Checklist which we make sure grammar, spelling, links, navigation, functionality and layout of the site is working properly, as well as spend time optimizing the website with the client-approved keyword list.
