ABOUT THE PROJECT
I love working with locally-owned and women-owned small businesses, and this one was both! It was a pleasure working with Megan and Brittainy, two of the owners, who are passionate about their business, were excited about the project, and conveyed an inspiring entrepreneurial energy. Since their old site went down and was lost by a previous designer, they contacted Startup Production for a new website design.
We did our best to find and restore what we could on the WayBackMachine, at least with content, but the rest we had to start from scratch. They also had no access to their previous high-resolution logo or their former logo designer, so we optimized and digitized their current logo so it was usable online or in print, with a high resolution version and a web-friendly version.
As we worked on the new site’s design and development, we provided a structured and organized layout, updated content, graphical features, photo editing, dynamic features, enhanced descriptions of the services and benefits. We worked close with the owners to ensure they on the same page every step of the way. Megan and Brittainy were responsive in timely fashion, with good feedback and helpful suggestion to create a website that correlated and reflected their brand. It’s always helpful to have a close working relationship with the client as we build their site, as they understand the nuances, the protocols and even the legal issues regarding their products, services and customers’ needs.
The final product was published, optimized for SEO and AEO, and run through our eagle-eye checklist, which verifies functionality, links, images, spelling and grammar of all text, and overall quality of the website layout.
