Steve Andersen discovered Startup Production via a Google search, he called after looking through my portfolio to redo his 12+ years’ company website. The logo, general branding, color scheme was to remain the same or similar, but the page’s layout, the website’s design, navigation and content all need refreshing and updating. The Discount Program he offers to the Equine world is unique and the goal was to make it very easy to understand, non-intimidating to get started, and provide trust and credibility so a customer could clearly see this was no gimmick, but a true manufacturer-provided discount for those in the equine industry that Steve’s company facilitated and processed for the customer. We needed to revise the way the content read, with easy to follow steps to show how the program worked, and the lack of liability, cost and hassle to the customer and the equipment dealer. The other goals was to appeal to dealers and retailers to understand how the program worked so they could understand it from their point of view, apply to the Equine Equipment approved customer and even refer it to new customers who had not yet heard of the program.
After the site’s first draft was completed, as always, we conduct a training meeting on how to update the site, as well as go over some basic content marketing and SEO strategies that the staff and owner can apply and regularly implement into their website’s growth, and ultimately, success.
