Last month, I am excited to announce that Startup Production joined the Berea Chamber of Commerce. Since its founding in 1854, people have come to visit Berea, found it to their liking, and have made it their home. Today, the area boasts a population of approximately 13,000 and offers world-renowned arts and crafts, acres of beautiful rolling farm and forest land, a thriving industrial base and numerous recreational opportunities such as hiking and camping.
Chamber President, Mike Hogg writes, “The City of Berea has much to offer the business world as well as family life. Berea has a wide array of business opportunities including a great hospital, globally competitive industry, locally owned small businesses, Berea College and two highly ranked school systems. Our goal as a Chamber is to promote and support all of our businesses and their employees. Through the Chamber, we encourage all of our business owners and employees to become involved with the Chamber and our committees. We also strive to involve our young business owners and managers in the Chamber, as we move into the future and embrace technology.”
Their goals for their members and their community are as follows:
- supporting current businesses;
- encouraging new business development;
- enhancing communication and collaboration; and
- promoting Berea as a place to live and work.
I look forward in Startup Production’s involvement in their many networking events and making new connections in Berea, KY. Networking is the most effective form of marketing because its about building relationships and expanding your connections.
“True success does not come from pursuing revenue streams but developing relationships. Trusted and loyal partnerships are a business’ greatest asset.” – Nicole Mueller, owner of Startup Production
