Sean & Amy are longtime friends of our family, who like us originated from the Northeast, and they called Startup Production when it was time for a website to promote, educate and sell their ‘beyond organic’ microgreens. We built a responsive, ecommerce website with a blog, a catalog of items, and a full cart and checkout functionality with WooCommerce. We were also hired to interview the owners and write and edit the original (Non-AI Generated) content to tell their specific story, their unique approach to farming and their technological advances to produce a Beyond Organic microgreen. We researched the superior nutritional density of microgreens, the various ways you can utilize microgreens, the unique taste for each specific variety, and created several recipes to encourage adding microgreens to your family’s dinner table. I enjoyed working with such a vibrant, friendly and family-oriented couple who are so passionate about their mission: Feeding the World with Beyond Organic Produce and Experience the Taste of Real Food.
With a site that is as colorful as their microgreens, we based the color scheme on the logo we created for the clients, taking a painting from a local artist and modifying and digitizing it into a new logo that fit for their targeted brand. The pictures chosen were to show the vibrancy, the color and the attractiveness the microgreens will bring to any dish you serve. And we have included pictures of the indoor farming system and innovative induction lighting that Amy’s husband and business partner developed especially for organic farming. When we create a website, we engross ourselves into the market, the industry, the owners and team, the target customers, the product, the benefits of usage and what sets their specific company apart from their competitors so the website accurately and visually represents the unique brand of the owners and company’s mission.
ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Taste the Organic was created to put beyond organic, affordable and great tasting food on your family’s table. Amy and her daughter are eager to share their love of farming, healthy and delicious food by bringing farm to table microgreens to your table. Amy’s daughter, Corinne has partnered with her mother in bringing Taste the Organic to life. About ten years ago, when Amy and her family moved to North Carolina, she was excited to have the space to take her hobby to the next level, and where her husband, Sean, was inspired to make Amy’s hobby into a growing business with the use of his induction lighting and farming innovations. So with Amy’s and her daughter’s passion for organic farming and Sean’s experience in farming technology, together as a family, they are realizing their dream, Taste the Organic.
The Taste the Organic Microgreens are not exposed to the elements, environmental pollution, acid rain, pests and diseases that naturally occur in traditional farming, so there is no need for sanitation process after harvesting. Their microgreens are literally farm to table.
