Tony & Lisa Ocampo contacted Startup Production after finding us on Google.  They were looking to build a new redesigned website, as their old website was in great need of a redo, but their main need for their new site was to have the ability to update their content themselves, without being reliant on a third-party to add, revise and manage content.  (Startup Production includes training on every new website we build to ensure the client has the ability to have full content management of their completed site.)

In addition, their old site was no longer usable for their business, as the content was no longer accurate or up to date, it was built in a protocol that did not allow for the client to update their content and it had components (Flash) that were no longer compatible with current browsers. So after our initial meeting to discuss their wish list for their new website’s content, functionality, and design, we looked at websites in their industry, as well as discussed in depth how their inventory of horses could be added, updated, organized and maintained by them and their staff easily and efficiently, with a few training sessions. We put up a “under construction” page with contact information, since their old website was taken down inadvertently.

Our team also went to work on writing keyword-rich content for their new websites’ content, who they are (history & mission), what they do (services), what sets them apart in their industry (value add-ons) and why choose them (key benefits), after several interviews with the client and the client’s written submission to our list of questions. After near completion of the site, we had several training meetings with Lisa, on content management as well as how to maintain inventory management of the foals, yearlings, sold horses, sales prices, alumni, and list of races. Their deadline was two days before Derby, and we are happy to say the website went live on May 5, 2022, just in time.  Their mobile responsive, SEO-friendly, content management WordPress website with professional design and content writing will not only be used as an online marketing tool, but will be used as a communication tool with their clients, as well as a database to manage their inventory.
